Our history

Five generations united in an enterprise

1898

Pietro Sartori founds the company and buys the first barrel. His son, Regolo Sartori, is born.

1924

The patriarch purchases Villa Maria, which already includes a vineyard within its park and a section dedicated to the drying process on “arele” racks.

1934

Regolo Sartori takes over the company and registers the brand featuring the figure of Cangrande della Scala.

1961

Sartori di Verona bottles its first Amarone.

1965

Sartori di Verona exports its wines abroad for the first time.

1999

In these years, there is a strong push toward international expansion, alongside a growing recognition of the city of Verona through the establishment of significant cultural partnerships.

2005

Sartori begins its relationship with the Arena di Verona Foundation, becoming the Official Supplier of the opera season.

2021

The conservative maintenance project for the statue of Cangrande della Scala begins.
